To celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023, the Remi Landier house created an exceptional exclusive: Magnum XO 50th Anniversary. Born from the blending of unique cognacs, the youngest of which is twenty years old, this version has retained its fresh expression, underscored by perfectly integrated oak.
This fresh and woody cognac, limited to 50 bottles and bottled at 50%, is presented in a mouth-blown decanter accompanied by a numbered and hand-engraved wooden label and case. A true collector's item!

A BELL-AND-MOUTH BOTTLE

Rémi Landier has collaborated with the Allain Guillot Glass Workshop since the early 1980s. A Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), Allain Guillot is an artist renowned for his glass sculptures. He now works alongside his son, Frédéric, a highly talented glassblower, who has created this unique magnum, enhancing the exceptional character of this vintage.

APPEARANCE: Copper orange.

NOSEBoth lively and refined. Balsamic (pine, linden) and fruity (orange, persimmon), the nose is marked by delicate aromas of quince jelly. With aeration, the aromatic profile reveals chocolatey, autumnal (dried leaves), camphoraceous tones, and a lovely rancio (cherry in brandy).

PALATEStraight, slender. Fibrous (ginger), the initial taste reveals nuanced flavors of freshly cut grass and peppermint. In the mid-palate, beeswax and cocoa powder gently disperse across the palate.

FINISHLong, silky. Very delicate (peach skin), the beginning of the finish releases notes of melon with great purity of expression. Rich and refreshing, the aftertaste is an invitation to savor hazelnut ice cream.

GRAPE VARIETY : Ugni Blanc
DISTILLATION: Charentais pot still. Double distillation, with wine lees retained.
AGEING : French oak casks from the Limousin or Allier forests.
PRODUCTION : cold filtration, reduced to 50% ABV
