The Lochnagar 12 Year Old Rare Single Malt is subtle and freshly oaked, aged for 12 years in second-fill bourbon oak casks. The distillery is located in a wooded area on the banks of the River Dee, which also flows through the Balmoral Castle estate. The quality of this water contributes to a flavorful Highland malt, characterized by a delightful balance of fruit and sweet spices.

NOSE : Woody, with aromas of butterscotch, linseed oil and sour lychee with a hint of coffee and cane sugar.
MOUTH : Sweet and pleasant, tempered by acidity. Notes of wood, nuts, almond, cinnamon and butterscotch mingle with subtle vegetal flavors.
FINAL: Medium, with lingering sandalwood notes.
