Nikka Taketsuru 17 years old – Japan

NOSE : Spicy and delicate, it also reveals fruity notes (yellow mirabelle plum, peach skin) and chocolate. It lingers with hints of old leather, dried tobacco leaf, and dried fruit (apricot, fig).

MOUTH : Rich and indulgent, it evokes the sensation of candied fruit and fruit in brandy (sour cherry) with a lovely smoothness. Creamy, it develops notes of toffee, mocha, and roasted nuts (hazelnuts).

FINAL: Long and worthy of old Speyside whiskies, it is marked by praline, charred wood, and cigar smoke. Anise flower and citrus bring freshness to this whisky. Delicate herbaceous notes (dried herbs) are also present.
