Manuel Olivier – Burgundy – Pinot Noir –

The Manuel Olivier family estate is located in the hamlet of Corboin, a land of wine and blackcurrants, perched on the hills above Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée. This wine underwent a short maceration, followed by aging in vats, preserving all the characteristics of a true Pinot Noir. With its red fruit aromas and approachable palate, it pleases every palate.

NOSE : Fresh and intense, slightly spicy, predominantly red fruits (strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant).

MOUTH : Fresh attack of red fruits followed by a low tannic intensity.

FINAL: harmonious.

 

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Pinot Noir
AGEING : in stainless steel tank, bottled as soon as malolactic fermentation is complete to preserve the early aromas typical of the grape variety.
TERROIR: Located on a hillside, facing east, altitude 380 m. Clay-limestone soil 50 cm deep, grassy.

 

Best consumed between 2 and 6 years of age at a temperature of 14 to 16°C.

Serve with red meat and poultry, grilled or roasted.
