This world-renowned Village appellation gave its name to the "Côte de Nuits". It produces structured, powerful, and full-bodied wines. The vines, over 40 years old, are located on a plot at the foot of the slope, facing due east at an altitude of 240 meters.

AGEING : 18 months on fine lees worked in oak barrels (30% new barrels, 30% barrels from one wine, 30% barrels over 3 years old).
TERROIR: A plot of land located at the foot of a slope, facing east, in the locality known as "Aux Allots", at an altitude of 240m. Clay-limestone soil approximately 50cm deep, composed of red clay, stony and well-drained.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C

Aging potential: 5 to 15 years
