This Grand Cru appellation of the Côte de Nuits carries the memory of the Cistercian monks. Power, fine tannins, intensity, and harmony are the hallmarks of this elegant wine with its long, lingering finish. This Pinot Noir benefits from an east/southeast exposure at an altitude of 250 meters.

AGEING : 18 months on fine lees worked in oak barrels (50% new barrels, 50% barrels that have held one wine)
TERROIR: East-Southeast exposure, at 250m altitude. Clay-limestone soil with a predominantly stony composition, on a compact limestone subsoil.

Serve at a temperature between 16 and 18°C 

Aging potential of 5 to 20 years
