Les Hauts de Pez – Saint Estèphe – 2021

The very name of the hamlet of Pez originates from the landed estate held by the Pontac and Fumel families in the 16th century. It was only in 1931 that the property definitively took the name "Château Tour de Pez," due to the tower built in the 13th century that overlooked the buildings and the plots of land registered under the name Pez. Since 1989, the property has been owned and managed by the Bouchara family, who have restored the buildings by rebuilding the tower, renovating the cellars, and modernizing the facilities.
