NOSE: A touch of sweetness. Notes of fresh fruit: orange, apricot, quince, apple. It evolves with vanilla and caramel. Greener notes of freshly cut grass. Linden leaf. A strong return of red berries and dried fruits: hazelnut, almond, pecan.
PALATE: Both ample and elusive. Develops on pepper and black liquorice, with an underlying softness.
FINISH: Returns to the opening fruit notes.
AGE STATEMENT: 10 years +

GRAPE VARIETY : Ugni Blanc
DISTILLATION: Charentais pot still. Double distillation, with wine lees retained.
AGEING : French oak casks from the Limousin or Allier forests.
PRODUCTION : cold filtration, reduced to 40% ABV
Best enjoyed neat or in cocktails, where it expresses itself in surprising ways.
XO FINS BOIS will pair very well with duck or pigeon meat, cheese, or even a chocolate dessert.
Serving tip : AN OLD SQUARE – Place 2.5cl of bourbon, 2.5cl of Remi Landier XO, 2.5cl of red vermouth, and 1.5cl of Benedictine in a shaker. Shake with 5 or 6 ice cubes. Serve in a chilled glass, holding back the ice cubes.
