COLOUR : Russet gold with copper highlights.
NOSE : Powerful, the first aromas perceived are sweet spices like vanilla and nutmeg; ripe white grapes; almonds and lemongrass. These are followed by delicate notes of apricot, dried guava and blossoming flowers.
MOUTH : : A harmonious blend of honey and fruit, revealing spices such as curry and ginger, then barley sugar, peach, walnut, boxwood and bay leaf.
FINAL: : Long and fresh, lightly minty, fruity (mango) and spicy (clove, vanilla).

DISTILLATION: Charentais pot still. Double distillation, with wine lees retained.
AGEING : French oak casks from the Limousin or Allier forests.
PRODUCTION : cold filtration and reduction to 40%.
Subtle, intensely fruity and spicy, this VSOP can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, where it shines surprisingly well.
Serving tip : THE SIDECAR — 2 cl triple sec, 5 cl VSOP Rémi Landier, 2 cl lemon juice. Shake with 5–6 ice cubes. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
VSOP pairs beautifully chilled with oysters, lacquered duck, or a tarte tatin.
