COLOR : old gold with golden reflections.
NOSE : Precise and captivating, it unfolds with incredible complexity. It opens with notes of mango and saffron, nectarine and sage, grapefruit and nutmeg. It possesses an almost mentholated freshness with its delicate notes of Moroccan mint and vanilla. It evolves into an impressive floral bouquet of rose and violet and a precise note of boxwood. The rare spices then become more prominent.
MOUTH : velvety, it is dominated by a summer fruitiness (apricot, melon) and exotic (papaya, guava) also complemented by spices and very dense herbaceous and floral notes.
FINAL: Very long and fresh, both fruity and spicy. Remarkable for the near absence of any woody notes.

DISTILLATION: Charentais pot still. Double distillation, with wine lees retained.
AGEING : French oak casks from the Limousin or Allier forests.

It is best enjoyed neat in a suitable tulip glass.
It will pair very well with duck or pigeon meat, a chocolate dessert, or a pressed cheese.
