Vieux Pineau Dixneuf Blanc — La Halte Rouillacaise

The aged expression of a long-cellared Pineau

75 cl — 17 % vol. Ref. HRPI0011

25,00

Presentation

The Vieux Pineau Blanc Dixneuf comes from the family distillery cellars in the Rouillac region. Several years of ageing in oak casks have allowed the aromas to mature and the muted must to gain in complexity, without losing the characteristic freshness of white Pineau. A finely balanced cuvée, halfway between fruity youth and the patina of a great old Pineau. Selected for the La Halte Rouillacaise range.

Tasting notes

  • Eye : Old-gold robe with amber highlights.
  • Nose : Open nose: dried apricot, wildflower honey, toasted almond, vanilla. A fine woody note signs the cask ageing.

  • Finish : Long finish on candied fruit with a touch of toasted hazelnut.
