Juniper berries bring the freshness and invigorating character of the Atlantic. This is enhanced by a note of ginger, which reinforces this feeling. The iodine, salty, and maritime touch comes from the Fucus. It appears in the heart and finish. A surprising citrus note also emerges, strengthened by a hint of lemon. Finally, pepper adds strength and oceanic power.
DISTILLATION: Its recipe uses fucus seaweed harvested in its natural environment on the Île de Ré to produce a gin with a robust character. Each botanical has been selected to evoke the sensations of a walk along the ocean coast. They are distilled separately before being carefully blended in a unique proportion.
This spirit is best enjoyed chilled and/or "on the rocks", as an aperitif or digestif, and brings an oceanic touch to the classic Gin and Tonic.
