ORIGIN : Île de Ré
DEVELOPMENT: Organic fennel seeds and aromatic plants are harvested in October. They release a vegetal flavor characteristic of Pastis from Île de Ré.
It is obtained by macerating fennel seeds in alcohol and infusing aromatic plants. Over several days, the aromas of the plants diffuse through the alcohol and water, creating a vegetal expression very different from pastis obtained by distillation.
Finally, it is produced and bottled on the Île de Ré in Rivedoux Plage
This product is best enjoyed with 5 times its volume of water chilled with ice cubes, or ideally with 7 times its volume of water to fully appreciate its subtlety.
