Pastis from the Ile de Ré

Pastis from Île de Ré is a tasting pastis that meets the minimum regulatory requirements, like all pastis sold in France, with defined levels of anethole, glycyrrhizic acid, sugar and alcohol.
From this base, the tasting pastis recipe will bring complementary aromatic notes to transform the aperitif break into a complete olfactory discovery.

Made from organic aromatic plants, this pastis is certified Organic Agriculture according to the Ecocert standard.
Awarded at the 2018 Concours Général Agricole in Paris, Pastis de l'île de Ré obtained a gold medal in the category of anise-flavored aperitif drinks.

DEVELOPMENT: Organic fennel seeds and aromatic plants are harvested in October. They release a vegetal flavor characteristic of Pastis from Île de Ré.
It is obtained by macerating fennel seeds in alcohol and infusing aromatic plants. Over several days, the aromas of the plants diffuse through the alcohol and water, creating a vegetal expression very different from pastis obtained by distillation.
Finally, it is produced and bottled on the Île de Ré in Rivedoux Plage

This product is best enjoyed with 5 times its volume of water chilled with ice cubes, or ideally with 7 times its volume of water to fully appreciate its subtlety.
