This Village appellation, nestled between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, is one of the smallest in the Côte de Nuits. It produces wines characterized by their straightforwardness and generosity. The terroir is located at the foot of the slope, with an eastern exposure in the lieux-dits "Les Cognées," "Les Crais Gillon," and "Les Champs de la Vigne," at an altitude of 250 meters.

AGEING : 18 months on fine lees worked in oak barrels (10% new barrels, 30% barrels that have held one wine, 60% barrels that are more than 3 years old)
TERROIR: Located at the foot of the hill, facing east in the locality known as "Les Cognées", "Les Crais Gillon" and "Les Champs de la Vigne" at an altitude of 250m. Clay-limestone soil slightly marly with a depth of about 50cm, consisting of ochre clay, stony and well-drained.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C

Aging potential: 5 to 15 years

It pairs well with a piece of beef, duck breast strips, and aged cheeses.
