This Calvados Extra Old was designed to represent the richness and diversity of old Norman brandies.
A blend created with Calvados aged between 10 and 27 years in French oak barrels, sourced from the cellars of three houses.
Three terroirs and two distillation methods are represented here. Brandies from the Pays d'Auge, the Pays de la Risle and the Manche, produced either by double distillation "à repasse", or by continuous distillation in a column still.
A rich and beautifully rounded eau-de-vie that expresses all the complexity of the Normandy terroir. A wonderful introduction to Calvados for whisky and rum enthusiasts.
