The result of the last distillations by René Guesdon, the family patriarch, this blend was created in the early 1970s. Since then, this exceptional eau-de-vie has patiently matured in oak casks for nearly half a century, becoming the oldest ever produced by the estate. During this time, three generations of the Guesdon family have tended it with the same devotion they give to their centuries-old orchards, where some trees are three hundred years old. Rich in aromas, fresh and citrusy with notes of smoke and leather, and bottled for the first time at cask strength, this bold and uncompromising vintage is well worth the wait.
