Nose Powerful and saline, it is both rich and refreshingly crisp. Peat is the first note to emerge, oily and full of salt and white pepper. The marine character is ever-present: samphire, damp granite, sun-baked sand… After a moment, hints of lemon and licorice, along with powerful, heady floral notes, take hold.
Palate Once again, the balance between richness and freshness is perfect. The build-up is very natural, and the palate evolves in a style that echoes the nose.
Finish : a thick cloud of ash mixed with a hint of dark chocolate and mint.
PEAT: Very peaty
ORIGIN : Scotland
Serve as an aperitif, dry, on ice or with a little water at room temperature.
