Presentation
The 2019 white Pineau from the Fraichefont estate is a young, fruity and accessible Pineau that sincerely expresses the freshness of Charentais grape must muted with the estate's own cognac. AOC Pineau des Charentes in its purest expression — balanced, indulgent, ideal for a convivial aperitif. Selected for the La Halte Rouillacaise range.
Tasting notes
- Eye : Pale gold robe, bright, with the green highlights characteristic of a young Pineau.
- Nose : Fruity, expressive nose: fresh grape, golden delicious apple, Williams pear. Light floral touches (acacia) and citrus zest.
- Palate : Round, sweet attack, perfectly balanced by freshness. The palate plays on white fruit with a discreet honeyed note. The cognac is suggested, never burning.
- Finish : Crisp, fresh finish on fruit and a touch of white blossom.
