NOSE : Full and rich. By turns lemony, roasted, exotic, fruity, herbaceous and spicy, the first impression is impressive. It then becomes increasingly rustic, vintage and oily.
MOUTH : Concentrated and assertive, with a very pleasing rusticity, the attack on the palate unfolds with tannins that are at once herbaceous, floral, fruity, and powdery. In the mid-palate, ginger and candied lemon accentuate the lovely roughness of the flavor profile.
FINAL: Long and indulgent. Apple jelly, honey, and candied pears compete in intensity. Verdant, the retro-nasal aroma is particularly spring-like and mouthwatering.
