Yuzu Yuzushu by Heiwa Shuzo – Japanese Liqueur

This yuzu-sake liqueur takes its name from its composition: 50% of pure yuzu juice (a highly fragrant citrus fruit from East Asia) and 50% of junmai sake aged for two years. Awarded a gold medal in the liqueur category at the Osaka competition, this surprisingly fresh and aromatically rich yuzushu is produced by the traditional sake brewery Heiwa Shuzo (founded in 1928) located in Wakayama Prefecture.
