NOSE : Smooth and mellow. Notes of precious woods (cedar, oak) envelop roasted coffee, candied apricots, and peppermint. It evolves with spices, maple syrup, and pumpkin. It clearly evokes the dusty atmosphere of a carpentry workshop.
MOUTH : Round and honeyed. Very different from the nose, its attack is marked by citrus and dark chocolate. Also reminiscent of Burgundy marc or coffee liqueur, it evolves with heady floral notes (peony, rose) and dried fruit (prune, apricot). It is sustained throughout by a fruity acidity (nectarine, melon).
FINAL: Long and lingering, it takes its time to reveal all its fruit (apricot, peach, mirabelle plum). Candied, it also has vegetal notes (cut hay) and spicy hints (ginger). Cocoa powder gives it a very fine texture. The empty glass brings out notes of mimosa and flowering sulfur.
