Venezuelan Rum – Don Tito – Very Old Single Cask 2004

An anomaly on the planet of rum, exceptional!

42.3% – 70cl – Non-chill filtered – Single Cask of 670 bottles

Aged in Venezuela in Bourbon barrels, it was brought back to Charente in the Cognac region, where it underwent a gradual reduction before bottling, reaching 42.31% ABV and achieving an ideal strength for tasting. It was also aerated and aged for a few weeks in an old Cognac cask to allow it to rest and mellow. It was not chill-filtered; only a light filtration was carried out before bottling the 670 bottles. The result is astonishingly refined and elegant, while revealing an incredible aromatic intensity worthy of the finest rums. Superb and extremely rare!
