Presentation
The 2014 vintage offers a cognac of remarkable harmony: the maturity of the fruit pairs with delicately integrated wood. Distillerie Dixneuf signs here an eau-de-vie of balance, ideal for discovering the grace of the Fins Bois cru in single-cru, single-vintage form.
Tasting notes
- Eye : Bright light-amber robe with coppery highlights.
- Nose : Generous bouquet: fresh grape, yellow peach, dried apricot. Subtle notes of sweet spices (cinnamon, ginger) and orange blossom.
- Palate : Round, velvety attack. The palate develops on stewed fruits, honey and a touch of liquorice. The wood remains seamlessly integrated, never aggressive.
- Finish : Lingering finish, on ripe fruit with a hint of cocoa.
