Cognac Dixneuf Vintage 2014 Fins Bois — La Halte Rouillacaise

The perfect balance between fruit and patina

35 cl — 43 % vol. Ref. HRCOG0012

32,00

Presentation

The 2014 vintage offers a cognac of remarkable harmony: the maturity of the fruit pairs with delicately integrated wood. Distillerie Dixneuf signs here an eau-de-vie of balance, ideal for discovering the grace of the Fins Bois cru in single-cru, single-vintage form.

Tasting notes

  • Eye : Bright light-amber robe with coppery highlights.
  • Nose : Generous bouquet: fresh grape, yellow peach, dried apricot. Subtle notes of sweet spices (cinnamon, ginger) and orange blossom.
  • Palate : Round, velvety attack. The palate develops on stewed fruits, honey and a touch of liquorice. The wood remains seamlessly integrated, never aggressive.
  • Finish : Lingering finish, on ripe fruit with a hint of cocoa.
