Edradour – 10 years – Distiller Edition

Edradour is a single malt whisky made from a blend of whiskies aged in oloroso sherry casks. It is remarkably smooth for a Highland single malt. The nose is dominated by sherry, then reveals notes of honey that evolve into fruit. It is rich on the palate with surprising notes of lavender, violet, and peppermint. The finish is sweet and fruity, tending towards a hint of salted caramel.
