Produced by the renowned Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky, this straight rye is one of America's legendary whiskeys, linked to the tradition and history of 1800s New Orleans. The Sazerac cocktail was originally prepared at the Sazerac Coffee House with cognac from the "Sazerac de Forge et Fils" distillery. Over time, the main ingredient was replaced with a rye whiskey, eventually lending its name to the drink. Today, Sazerac Rye has become a staple in cocktail bars.
