El Pasador de Oro – Grande Reserve – Guatemala
El Pasador de Oro XO Gran Reserva is a rum that comes from several Guatemalan distilleries.
An initial, lengthy aging process of 10 to 18 years (compared to 6 to 15 years for the XO version) takes place on-site in various types of casks. These casks are then transported to the Charente region of France, to the cellars of the French company Les Bienheureux. The rum then spends an additional 6 months in cognac casks before being bottled in this beautiful decanter.
El Pasador de Oro Gran Reserva is more powerful, less sweet, than its younger version El Pasador de Oro XO.
