Le nom m\u00eame du hameau de Pez tire son origine de la seigneurie fonci\u00e8re d\u00e9tenue par les familles de Pontac et de Fumel au XVIe si\u00e8cle. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019en 1931 que la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 prendra d\u00e9finitivement le nom de \u00ab Ch\u00e2teau Tour de Pez \u00bb, en raison de la tour \u00e9difi\u00e9e au XIIIe si\u00e8cle qui dominait les b\u00e2timents et les parcelles recens\u00e9es au cadastre sous le nom de Pez. Depuis 1989 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 est d\u00e9tenue et g\u00e9r\u00e9e par la famille Bouchara qui ont remis en valeur les b\u00e2timents par la reconstruction de la tour, la r\u00e9novations des chais et la modernisation des installations.<\/p>\n
